The Generations In Jazz Vocal Scholarship is to further the career of the successful jazz vocalist. The winner will receive $5,000 to assist in the development of their careers.

Applications are initially by audition CD or tape, no mini discs (non returnable).

Six finalists will be selected and must be available to attend final adjudication in Mount Gambier during the Generations In Jazz weekend on 6th-8th May, 2011.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be between 15-21 years of age as at 1st January, 2011.

Labelled CD or Tape (no mini discs) containing applicant's performance of

  • Ballad

  • Medium to uptempo swing, maximum five minutes each

  • Recent photograph - passport size

  • Resume of musical history (brief - no booklets please)

  • Completed application form (hard copy)
