The Generations In Jazz Festival in Mount Gambier is a unique event. This 3 day festival brings over 2000 young music students together to play and learn about jazz.

While the substantial case prizes given to the winning bands in each division are noteworthy, more so is the presence and participation of James Morrison. This world class musician is a stunning performer and the students come away greatly inspired from listening to him play and spending time with him. James and his brother John, along with the organisers of the festival, have created an environment where the students, along with the surrounding community, can come together and celebrate this great music.
