Generations in Jazz Inc. sub contracts The Barn Palais Pty Ltd to provide catering to all registered participants throughout the festival period. The Barn  are committed to meeting the needs of participants who have special dietary restrictions such as food allergies and/or intolerance or other medically restricted diets.

This page contains important information for Tour Coordinators and Music Directors in relation to catering requirements.

For safety reasons it is important that ALL dietary requirements are clearly communicated to Generations in Jazz, so that individuals are not presented with foods which may cause an allergic reaction. We therefore ask that you provide as much information as possible to ensure every care is taken to accommodate students’ needs during the 3 days.

Any dietary requirements we are not aware of, will not be able to be catered for.

The Barn will be allocating the dining venue & time if you haven’t completed the online form as at 9 April 2019, they will be considering time and order of play when allocating a time for Saturday lunch pickup.  All schools will receive a parcel via registered post from The Barn with confirmed venue & time, along with dietary tickets. The Barn will also follow up with a phone call in the coming weeks to ensure the school has received the parcel.  Please contact Bria on is you have any further catering requirements.

Dietary Requirement Form

In addition to the normal menu, those with significant dietary requirements will be catered for and meals will be supplied under “Special Diets” and include Vegetarian, Gluten Free/Dairy Free as well as Vegan.

Schools will need to submit one “Dietary Requirement On line form” per school which will include only the names of those students and staff who have been identified with having a specific dietary requirement.  All other students will be provided the standard menu over the festival period.

This form is to be completed online no later Monday 25 March 2019.

 Nut Allergies

Only students or staff who have an allergy to nuts must read and individually complete the Waiver of Liability – Assumption of Risk Form and return to schools prior to your arrival at Generations in Jazz.
