All registrations for the Festival will be online via the Festival website.
We offer a simple registration process which enables participating schools to secure their attendance at the event. It is also designed for the collection of basic participant information as a way of seeking to ensure the safety and supervision of young people who attend.
The Generations in Jazz Festival is a huge logistical and creative extravaganza and an event the size and scale of Generations in Jazz would not be possible without the vital role played by Music Directors, teachers, tour coordinators and school administration. School Registration is necessary for Generations in Jazz to properly plan places of accommodation, food provision and seating and venue arrangements for school performances and public concerts.
We’ve made it easy for schools to focus on the music and enjoy the festival with packages that include your accommodation, student workshops, meals, concert entry and access to all stage band and vocal ensemble performances.
The Generations in Jazz Board appoints an Official Accommodation Committee to secure suitable accommodation at affordable prices for registered participants. This assists groups to reduce costs and make the Festival as accessible as possible. Accommodation allocations are made based on selection and venue capacities.
We know that Generations In Jazz is about great music, food, fellowship and a great place to stay. That can be different things to different people, so we would ask that you indicate your first preference, and a member of our accommodation team will be in touch to discuss your available options based on your registered numbers.
Whilst the options below are used as guide to the allocation of schools to venues, please note that we cannot guarantee your first selection.
