During the Event 

As our phone lines can get very busy while the festival is in progress, presenting at the Box Offices will be the most efficient and direct way to resolve any ticketing issues you may have. Come say hi and we can sort it out for you on the spot.


Box Office Hours:


1:00pm - 9:00pm
7:30am – 10:30pm


9:00am - 11:30am

Children's Tickets*

Discounted tickets are available for children 12 and under however must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when entering or attending the festival.

Ages are calculated at the date of entry to the Festival, please ensure you purchase the correct ticket type for your age.

Concession Categories 

The following entitle you to a concession priced ticket:

  • Full-Time Student

  • Australian Pension Card holder

  • Centrelink Health Care Card holder

  • Seniors Card

  • A Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) card

  • YHA member

Please note that you must bring relevant proof of concession as you may be asked to provide this at the gates. 

Entry tickets are sent via Registered Post and cannot be delivered to Parcel lockers. Please ensure your account has a residential, work or PO Box address. 

Festival tickets are only sold via Generations in Jazz. We recommend that you do not purchase your tickets from another person unless they are known to you and you trust that your ticket will be valid. We do not take responsibility for invalid tickets.

Fees and Charges

Advertised ticket prices are exclusive of postage and bank merchant service fees, these costings are listed separately prior to proceeding with the booking and will also appear on your tax invoice. 

Terms and Conditions

In purchasing a ticket to Generations in Jazz you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions.

Please choose your ticket(s) carefully. In accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for Event Ticketing, event management does not offer refunds for the following reasons:

  • Failure to attend the event

  • Change of mind

  • Everyday circumstances

  • Changes to the line-up/program

  • Inclement/severe weather - this is an all-weather event

  • Late attendance

  • Refused entry or eviction from the event

  • Event dissatisfaction

  • Fear of exposure to COVID-19

  • COVID-19 or COVID-19 related symptoms

  • No refund on any unused portion of tickets if you or your invitees are asked or forced to leave or if you decide not to attend any part of the Event

  • Artist cancellations 


* with the ending of COVID 19 Public Health Directions no refund is available due to an individual contracting COVID / becoming unwell.
